Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. This policy explains our data practices for partners and platform users.

Last updated: 11 July 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how NexPe India ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visit our website, register as a partner, integrate our APIs, or interact with our support channels.

We build payment infrastructure for businesses. Protecting partner and end-customer data is essential to that mission. This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service.

2. Information we collect

Account and business details: Name, email address, mobile number, business name, GST or registration identifiers, address, bank or settlement account references, and documents submitted during KYC verification.

Technical and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, API request logs, authentication timestamps, error diagnostics, and dashboard activity needed to operate and secure the Platform.

Transaction metadata: Operator references, biller IDs, transaction amounts, status codes, commission entries, wallet movements, and reconciliation records required for settlement, dispute handling, and regulatory reporting.

Communications: Messages you send to support, onboarding questionnaires, and optional marketing preferences.

3. How we use information

  • Provision and maintenance of recharge, BBPS, AEPS, payout, and related API services
  • User authentication, fraud prevention, and abuse detection
  • Wallet accounting, commission calculation, and settlement reporting
  • Compliance with applicable laws, audit requests, and regulator inquiries
  • Platform reliability monitoring, incident response, and product improvement
  • Service announcements and, where permitted, partner marketing updates

4. Legal bases for processing

We process personal data where necessary to perform our contract with you, comply with legal obligations in the financial and telecom sectors, pursue legitimate interests such as security and analytics (balanced against your rights), and, where required, based on consent—for example for optional promotional communications.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We may share data with:

  • Banking partners, telecom operators, BBPS billers, and payment networks to complete authorised transactions
  • Cloud hosting, monitoring, messaging, and security vendors under contractual confidentiality obligations
  • Professional advisers where legally required
  • Regulators, law enforcement, or courts when mandated by applicable law

Where data is transferred to subprocessors, we require appropriate safeguards consistent with industry practice.

6. Data retention

We retain information for as long as your account remains active and for additional periods required by RBI/NPCI record-keeping norms, tax laws, dispute resolution, and contractual obligations. Backup systems may retain deleted data for a limited window before automatic purging.

7. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable Indian law, you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we control about you or your authorised representatives. You may opt out of non-essential marketing emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us directly.

We may need to verify identity before fulfilling a request and may decline requests that conflict with legal retention duties or the rights of other parties.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

Our website and dashboard use cookies and local storage for session management, security tokens, and preference settings. You can control cookies through browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may limit Platform functionality.

9. Security measures

We apply administrative, technical, and organisational controls including access restrictions, encryption in transit, audit logging, and partner credential rotation guidance. No online system is completely risk-free; you should implement strong passwords, IP allowlists, and key rotation on your integration environment.

10. Children's privacy

NexPe India services are intended for businesses and authorised adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18 years of age.

11. Policy updates

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technical, or operational changes. Revised versions will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes may also be communicated via email or dashboard alert.

12. Contact us
